It is that time of year once again. Air Jordan's summer releases of lowtop retros are here and the mercurial 11 lows are not to be overlooked. To start the season off, the jumpman brand is releasing the Air Jordan 11 Low "Barons", an homage to Michael Jordan's brief time with the Chicago White Sox minor league affiliate team, the Birmingham Barons.
Originally released as a grade school edition of the 11 lows, the "Barons" are back in adult sizing. Passing up on the traditional Cordura mesh upper, the baseball-inspired 11's feature a more durable nubuck upper. The iconic mudguard features a familiar lustrous gleam, but with a gradient silver hue representing the black and white of the Double-A baseball club.
The Air Jordan 11 Low "Barons" will be available at Community 54 Parkdale on May 27, 2017 for $235.
